If your insurance is new and don’t have your card in hand don’t waste your time with ER Care. We even had an email showing member ID and they said self pay or go elsewhere. Will never go back to this place again.
The ER staff are great. However, my son went to have a fishing hook removed and the Dr. who treated my son was not in our BC/BS network. The doctor's charge was $710.00.
Be aware that this place is astronomically expensive! We had a good experience going to ER Katy. The staff and the facility is nice. We had to pay a regular $100 co-pay for an emergency room visit. I was totally shocked to get a bill in the mail for another $525 from the doctor! I only had a doctor look at me, urine checked and prescribe me an antibiotic. Very unhappy!! I didn't go to an Urgent Care because it was Christmas Day and they were closed.
